Marbel originated as a small workshop in Pickering in 1967.Our business began with only one wood profile and six different door styles, focusing mainly on bathroom vanities. Quality and craftsmanship was immediately apparent to our customers, and this led to a growing demand for different types of cabinets and a greater offering of profiles. Soon, we outgrew our location in Pickering and moved to Whitby in 1987.

We can now proudly say that we have been manufacturing and supplying fine cabinet doors and custom woodwork to the Durham community for the past 50 years. Even after all that time, we have stayed true to our roots of skilled craftsmanship, family-like atmosphere, and never saying 'no' to a woodworking challenge. Understanding the relationship between functionality and design, we pride ourselves on creating products that are both high in quality and beautifully built.
